No separates hubs with D-A or Ult branding.
Rim brake calipers looks similar to 8000/9100, disc calipers are different (easier to bleed like br-m6100/m6000), hydraulic hose and connectors are the same as 8000/9100.
12s cranks chain line is +1 mm over 11s cranks
R9250 compatiblity, crankset weight changes FC-R9100 vs FC-R9200

for many months, here are images of the patents on Microspline-HG here............... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=156208
Yes - sorry, I didn't quite explain carefully enough.........when you mentioned cassettes featuring a new interface, I wondered if that meant neither HG nor MicroSpline. A Microspline-HG adapter means that the cassette has an HG interface doesn't it?
I don't know if it was referring directly to the adapter.....Please see patent images of adapters
I was told this afternoon that dura-ace cassettes have a dura-ace freehub........but they have not told me ... could refer to the microspline?? the same if the cassette is for microspline even if it starts with 11.....lighter solution ??
new D-A wheels = 12s only (d-a + ult cassettes)
new Ult wheels = 12s (d-a + ult), 11s, 10s,,,
old 11s wheels = 12s (d-a + ult), 11s, 10s,,,
I don't think ROAD patent was already posted. I don't have details on ROAD interface.
Dual interface may or may not need adapter. Adapterless example from MTB patent:
new Ult wheels = 12s (d-a + ult), 11s, 10s,,,
old 11s wheels = 12s (d-a + ult), 11s, 10s,,,

I'd heard Master (brake lever) and Slave cyclinders (Caliper) were supposed to be quit a bit bigger to allow for more pad movement/clearance?ooo wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 8:38 amCassettes will features new interface, which is compatible with new freehub (new d-a disc/rim wheels) and old freehubs (new Ult disc wheels).

I think I have saved the pdf´s of some of those patents ...... tomorrow I search and see how I can put them here ... if not I will take screenshots ...ooo wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 6:42 pmnew D-A wheels = 12s only (d-a + ult cassettes)

OnTheRivet, with a new geometry calipers have more reasonable redistributed volume and it doesn't look big. I don't know much about Master, but it is not recommended to mix old and new Master and caliper, so there are some internal changes too.
markyboy, yes, see my previous post.

Ah, this makes sense! I think you had explained in the other thread, but I didn't understand clearly. Thanks.ooo wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 6:42 pmnew D-A wheels = 12s only (d-a + ult cassettes)

It would definitely be lighter and possibly "easier" to make as a bonus [I'd love to know who makes the titanium freehub bodies for Shimano - they're exquisite. Surely they don't make them in-house?]Ritxis wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 4:13 pmI don't know if it was referring directly to the adapter.....Please see patent images of adapters

It looks like the Microspline for road has a different spline profile than the one for MTB. So I guess the 11-speed road and MTB cassette compatibility will cease to exist on 12-speed cassettes. Currently one could put a 11-speed MTB cassette on a 11-speed road freehub by adding a spacer.
It looks like old 11-speed freehubs can only take the 12-speed Ultegra cassette, not Ultegra+Dura Ace.
