Hi all

I have a rim brake C60 and I’m thinking of treating it to a set of WTO 60s. In all the reviews they state they are a wide wheel.

The C60 tyre clearance is tight at the best of times and I wondered if anyone is running this combination with 25mm tyres and if there were any fit problems ?

I think it really depends if you're on clinchers or tubulars to start with. I'm assuming it's clinchers as there's no tubular option on WTOs. There is no standard at all as to how a 25mm tyre is measured even before it's fitted to a rim. And then its size will vary whether you're on a C15, 17, 19 or whatever and what pressure you pump it up to. I run Bora Ultras which are a C17 rim on my C60. According to Campagnolo the rim width increases from 24.2 to 26.5 on the WTO so there's no issues with the width clearance between the rear stays behind the bottom bracket. The only potential concern would be clearance over the rear brake bridge but then it's a good 4mm on the 25mm Vittoria Corsa G's that I use so personally fitting the same tyre to the C19 WTO wheel I wouldn't have even considered clearance being an issue.

Good to know . I am with Bora Ultra50 +GP5000 25mm.
In the process of buying a Bora One 50 Tubular want to put Vittoria 25 Corsa tubs.

And in the future to get a WTO45 with 25Corsa Tubeless

Of course, on a C60 frame :)

Would you be kind enough to share how wide your Vittoria Corsa G2 TLR 25mm comes up on the WTO rim?

Thanks, good to know.

Shame it's not possible to get the 105% rule with these tyres and WTOs, as the Corsas are my favourite tyre.

My C60 with Bora One 50 clinchers and GP4000 S II 25C wore through the paint on the top underside of the fork, rear brake bridge and on a section of the inner chainstay.

When I used to have the C60 and a pair of Dugast 25mm on my LW wheels, the front tire was touching the paint on the inside of the fork.
No big drama but not much space.
