Formula R1 used to be my benchmark for the lightest rotors that still offer good bite, handle heat, and don't squeal. Too bad they are no longer made. I found a couple 160s on ebay a while ago.

I totally agree with you. I have no ide why they stopped making them.

Trickstuff is basically the new version. More, smaller holes and more $$$.

I'm looking at the Galfer Wave right now. Would they be suitable for a gravel bike? I weigh 66kg so don't need great stopping power.

I gave up on them. 4 of them that I had all warped horribly all the time. But I'm 15kg more than you.

I'm 85kg and haven't had any issues with the Galfer (centerlock version)

84 Kg and using the centre lock version, no problems here, thou I'm not living anywhere with mountains.

Ok, interesting. I've had light rotors before but only on road bikes. The wheels I'm getting are 6 bolt though. It's pretty much all flat here as well(Sweden).

I am usually somewhere between 82 and 85kg and have not had any issues with the Galfer (6-bolt) in almost 10000km on my gravel bike. Hardly ever doing any really long descents but on the few occasions I have done them there were no problems.
