V3Rs + Deda Alanera DCR Help
Moderator: robbosmans
I am trying to install Alanera DCR on a Colnago V3Rs and I now have realized I probably need a different adapter. I can't find on the web what adapter I need.
Here is a video of the issue I am running into - https://youtu.be/5EfdKnOxFD4
Any help guidance appreciated..

Well that answers my question about using integrated 3rd party handlebars on my C64. It does not appear you have routed the cables up the fork steerer and through the bars which would wedge against the spacers. Another thought is that the Colnago spacers have a small datum/nip protruding upwards that mates with the reciprical hole in the underside of the cable tray that attaches to underside of the SR9 stem. I thought there was an adapter kit for the C64/V3R because on page 2 of the the Colnago C64 PKSL ...build in progress... thread in which someone has had the bars installed on a rim brake C64.

After tossing and turning last night I decided to try just using the Colnago headset spacers vs the Deda spacers. It actually came out super clean and feels normal:ms6073 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 3:32 pmWell that answers my question about using integrated 3rd party handlebars on my C64. Hope this helps someone else...
Sweet. Curious how this looks from the side as the images of the Alanera on the C64 from the linked thread do not really impart how the drops are alignedwhen viewed from the side.

Do you use the red plastic piece to cover the hole in the D-shaped steerer above the cables (as is used with original SR9 stem) or you leave it unfilled? Thanks!
Yes, it helps:) My lbs told me the Colnago steerer is very rigid and they have seen bikes without the red plug with SR9, but I wanted to double check here as it is not fun to play with this part of bike..ccie6872 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 04, 2021 2:29 amI never used it (or had it) when using Alanera w/ my V3Rs .. not sure if this helps.
I'm interested in these bars for my C64 and was just looking at them earlier today.
A question... A review of the original Alanera criticised the downward slope of the Garmin mount. Is that still the case with the newer version? Does the screen of your bike computer slope slightly away from you?
