I just received my new frame from Italy, after 18 days of nervousness, before the Italian post, sent it out of the country :-)

Now starts the fight of collecting parts. I have chosen sub 6.8 kg because I want to be qualified to wear the "Normalize My Cannondale" jersey, if I can find one.

PS: Does anyone have the weight of this bottom bracket? I don't want to take it out, just for weighing. :(

Ohhhh! Very nice!

I wanted one of those soooo badly back in the day, you even scored a premium+ fork. Look forward to seeing how this one turns out.

The BB is likely just two bearings and an aluminium alloy axle? I doubt there's much room for weight saving there. Nice frame BTW .

49g for the BB30 bb. without the axle but that's easy to get out.

ofcourse I don't want to rain on your parade, because the frame is beautifull, but are those the carbon cranks? If yes, please look up if they were under the recall.

Thanks for the notice. It looks like mine is not under that recall "The recalled cranksets are two piece carbon crankset with an integrated aluminum bottom bracket. " :D

I second this! My daily ride is a (2-tube, painted) Six13, with the Ultra fork. This one looks so hot, and great score on the fork!

Not knowing anything about Cannondale, I just liked the look, so the fork score was unwittingly. :-)

The bar has been replaced by S-works shallow bend 38 cm 174 g and the stem with Zipp Service Course 80 mm 118 g.

Essential equipment has been procured. I found a "Legalize my Cannondale" jersey ;-)

I also just got a pair of Speedplay Zero Ti pedals, 164 g, saving 66 g over the Keo Carbons I am restoring, which will go on my other bikes, as I got an amazing deal on the Speedplays. Totally new at 100$. I was very sceptical of the deal but they just arrived and weighed the promised 164 g a pair :D

A Tufo Elite Jet is in order. 160 g

The projected weight is now around 6.3 kg with the cabling still an unknown.

I just wanted to get under 6.8 kg but now the temptation to go to 5.99kg lures but those last 300 g, will be very expensive.

I got a bargain on some Nokon, so now it's fully Nokon'ed 120g and finished with Tesa bartape 14g.

I discarded the heavy steel coil outer and used Nokon pearls under the tape as well.

I ended up on 6.12kg for now. So I feel entitled to wear that jersey(and caps and socks).

Nice build! My Six13 was a bit of a tank... 105 / 5600 groupo and other heavy parts. It was too big for me at 63cm. Sold it and bought a CAAD9
