Would love to hear people's opinions of the new Li2 dials. I think they are an significant step backward in usability. They don't have rubberized grips, and the grippable surface is lower profile.

Posting here to continue the thread on this specific BOA (lift to release all tension, press down and twist to tighten).

I have this BOA on Shimano XC9 MTB shoes.

From the very first ride they have the annoying habit of slacking off one or two clicks every few minutes and don't hold the tension I set. I have never had that on any other BOA and it is incredibly annoying.

It seems to be something like a hard effort or just freewheeling over rough ground that causes the BOA to loose tension. Something is just pulled or rattled loose but I can't fix it. It happens on all 4 dials so it seems like some kind of inherent flaw.

Has anyone noticed anything similar or does anyone have any tips to solve this?

I will contact BOA for some help or replacements but since all 4 dials do it I am not holding out a lot of hope!

Thanks!
