5000,-€ for the frameset.......specialized Atheos pricerange .....seems those prices are getting common

The pricing of the frameset-only version is strange, especially compared to the 7200EUR Di2 version

High frameset pricing is nothing unusual, main brands nowadays have all the more the incentive to actively discourage the purchase, since on a full bike they sell their own cockpit and their own wheels.

Not to mention that they probably have some kind of commercial agreement with third parties like Shimano and SRAM whereby they get volume based rebates (ie "dear Wilier, if you sell 100 of our groupsets we will charge you a price of X USD each, if you sell 200 groupsets we will charge you such X minus 5%, if you sell 300 groupsets we will charge you X minus 10%. Yours sincerely, Shimano").

Yep, canyon is known for their aggressive pricing but that is mainly when buying complete bikes. For frame only they are somehow average. But when looking at complete bikes they really kick-ass

Zero SLR was similar price, so not surprising. Cento used to be better priced but Willier is not cheap anymore.

I think it is a stunning looking bike to be honest. Also the paintjobs of the red and green are really really nice to look at IMO. I wonder what the ride quality is of this bike.

Kind of makes me wish I would have waited. The red looks great though. Price will be insane.

I saw a few videos that gave me a good idea of that colorway. If it was Iride Grey it would have been more appealing to me. The bike is still grey. Grey just doesn't do it for me.

Reviews seam to be positive on the new Filante and considering pulling the trigger on a new frameset. Any thoughts on how it would compare (performance) from the V3Rs (more of a compare to the Zero?) and SL7?
