Received mine just before xmas, 400x10 and weighing in at 233 grams. This is one good looking handlebar!
I've also wired it up to some Di2 shifters/wireless unit/bar end junction and these are the cable lengths I used:
Right shifter to bar end junction: 250mm
Left shifter to Wireless unit (positioned just inside the left hole): 300mm
Wireless unit to bar end junction on right side: 800mm.
All thats left is to run one cable from shifter down to junction box at the BB.

I tell myself not go for integrated cockpits but at that weight the temptation is really there!jamin wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 11:14 amReceived mine just before xmas, 400x10 and weighing in at 233 grams. This is one good looking handlebar!

Especially given that for me would have to be a 38cm so even lighter. Damn!!
Crap that I need 110mm stem. That weight looks really good and good price too.

For the people with the cockpit, would this mount work?

I believe so, as the Alpinist cockpit mount is the same as the specialized one that is being shipped with the Venge, SL7, Roubaix, ... apart from its Roval branding. You might however need a longer bolt for it as the video above mentions.stannymenza wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 11:14 amFor the people with the cockpit, would this mount work?

I have to say though that I have no direct experience on the combo (only on the tarmac SL6 stem + Roubaix stem cap with the HideMyBell SD, which is a great product by the way with great customer service). Anyway, if anybody else could chime in that might have used the combination that would be great!
I've used 40 to 42 cm in the past. In my last bike fit he measured me again and noticed me turning my hands inside on the 42cm that I took. Silently he then placed a 38cm bar on the mahcine and I felt very confortable. I've since changed it on my road bike and I'm incredibly confortable. 38cm for life

As far as I know, they don't make a 38cm bar. 40cm is the narrowest.
Which is hard to understand. For a company that claims that bike are unisex and just the contact points might need adjustment between genders I'd assume 40cm is way, way wider than most women would prefer. I could also use the aero argument. For a company to whom aero is supposed to be so important just makes "wide" bars. But it's okay, one can always source these components from different manufcturers.iamraymond wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 4:01 pmAs far as I know, they don't make a 38cm bar. 40cm is the narrowest.
