Personally i don't like any of the color options. I also had hoped they would go for a threaded BB.

Fyi the MVDP bike assembled in the video posted above is 7.2 kg including pedals.
It's all stock parts, Dura Ace, C40 tubular wheels with Corsa Graphene 28 mm tubulars, and Selle Italia Flite Kit Carbonio saddle.

The tubular part is definitely not stock, right.

Well, so much for ordering!

My Sagan Tarmac came with Peter and seriously, he eats a LOT.

I'm just kidding. I don't have a Specialized. (I would, but I just don't at the moment.)

That seems about right; you should definately get the Alaphilippe version of the SL7 then.

Why do you think I included it? By stock parts I meant the proprietary seatpost and cockpit

It's a shame you can't get the Movistar or Canyon-SRAM colours we've seen in the peleton

Certainly looks like they've moved some stock tonight, lots of sizes and colours already out of stock.

I'm tempted by the CFX 8 DI2. Seems reasonable for £5200.

Compares to the Merida Reacto - bit cheaper, few watts quicker, no faff changing bars (Canyon will fit diff length stems FOC if you order through an agent), likely similar weight, but arguably the Merida has better wheels?

https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Merida-Reacto- ... WQQAvD_BwE#

7.57kg, plus pedals and cages, its hard to swallow, building to a virtually 8kg bike on the road.

The extra £2.5k to the CFR model doesnt seem like great great value for upgrade to Dura Ace, marginally better wheels, a power meter (already got power pedals) and a few hundred grams off the frame.

I'm not good at decisions, but I suppose I can cancel in the next 6 weeks before dispatch without drama.

Well cycling weekly having the seriousness of my 1.5 years old son, I wouldn’t be surprise they have no idea what they measured, those weights are lower than the ones Canyon claims :/

I don’t get over-excited on any bike before I can ride it and see how it feels... but they have quite few points for them. Even if that’s the most proprietary normal road-bike “ever”, they may have cracked the problems transporting integrated bikes.

In Any of the interviews, did anyone asked about the elephant in the room about the nearly 1 full year delay?

They are 1400 g. DTs are like 1750 g or so, right?

sounds about right.. hell they are not even 40mm deep.. more like 37.. so 1400g+ for tubular is pretty heavy. Bontrager RSL37's tubeless weigh less for example.
