Be Aware: Quarq dub cranks downgraded but the same price

I tried finding the answer but still not 100% sure.
I have a old dzero and need new crank arms.
Would the new gxp arms work with the old dzero or did the gxp arms change with the new dub standard aswell?
Was hoping to maybe find a prime crank but no luck.

By the way, I just realized that the SRAM Red Quarq-ready BB30 cranks which originally came stock on Cervelo R5 2018 Etap 11sp HRD bikes are something inbetween the D1 Dub cranks (~339g) and D2 Force Dub cranks (~475g), as they weigh ~410g for crankarms & axle. And all these years I thought they're a wash with the D1, instead, it's a 70g penalty. I wonder, if it was the case with other brand Etap 11speed bikes as well, or just Cervelo somehow decided to improve the prices by silently downgrading the components, just as they did with Enve rims and Formula hubs on the same year DuraAce equipped R5's.

Those are all the same Force cranks as before... same weight... just different chainring options... oh and I think they may be gloss arms as the original were matte finish...

Anyway, these are not the Quarq D1 crank arms which are rebranded Red cranks... not available anymore, so if you want lite weight from Sram then you need the Red AXS arms

Any of you hoarding an extra pair of the Red spec arms in 170/Dub and willing to sell?

I don't care if they are labeled Quarq or Red, but they have to be Red D1 spec.

I've been sanding the Red cranks down now, much easier to do and leave matte. All done with sanding blocks and muscle, but I have just bought some machine sanding pads to see if they work better (hope so). The clearcoat marks really easily (even after numerous applications), so a gloss finish won't look great for long.

If you did want them gloss, you can T-Cut them, did this to my Quarq's Dfour 91's after sanding and they get to a mirror like shine, which is still the same after 3K miles, without any re-polishing etc. It also seems to keep the occasional heel scratches off as well.

I did the same thing with my Quarq/ Red DUB crankarms.. love the matte blackout look.. Planning to use my Sanded Red AXS DUB with DA 12 Speed.. Any advice on rings.. I see you used the Rotors.. I assume best option is DFour PM Spider with DA Rings or Rotor rings..

I have never used Carbon Ti.. but in your opinion.. If I wanted to use Red AXS Du crankarms with my DA 9270 build, which ring/spider combo would give me the most precise shifting? TIA

Rotor has released some 12 speed rings (only 48/35 last time I checked), they work great. Also Praxis now do some 12 speed rings.

I have zero issues with my Carbon-Ti rings, but the R9200 cranks / rings are definitely sharper shifting.

The 9200 Rings do not fit the existing Quard DFour 91/DFour spider, the rings have a different bolt circle spacing.

I am running the 9100 rings on my 9200 setup, there is no noticeable difference between the rings. Not tried Carbon-TI to see how it measures up
