When you say "didn't survive"... do you mean it kept getting loose, or it failed?

It keeps getting loose.

I contacted the distributor, and we've started the process to get a replacement fork with the new system.

Will not be on time for the upcoming Gran Fondo's end of August. But hopefully replacing the fork will be a long term solution.
Fuctor Ostro - Campy EPS SR Disc 12sp/P2M NG
Ridley R12 - Campy EPS Record 11sp/P2M NGEco
Thrust something - Campy Chorus/Record mechanical/P2M NGEco

No, that's not a typo

Has anyone received a new Ostro with the fix implemented? I am curious how much heavier the new fork + frame combo is....

I believe that was for the O2 VAM not the Ostro...

I have a new fork just arrived but not cut or installed yet. In theory, if you slam you stem you will cut away most of the heavy part of the steerer containing the threadset, and be left with just a small bit to thread into. So potentially lighter. We shall see.....

Does anyone know if all new Ostro bikes will get the new fork? When they changed the expander plug, they wrote something on the website. Now I can’t find anything about it.

Delivery times are terrible for the Netherlands. I ordered mine in March and yesterday I was told the ETA is somewhere in September.

I ordered mine in May, got here in July, and it had the new fork. I expect that the new fork isn't announced widely so they don't have to deal with requests from owners with the older version for a new fork.

I ordered mine online from Factor Direct because the local dealer couldn't specify a delivery time. Someone in the bike club asked them last week and was told October delivery, when the one he ordered throught the US in January still isn't here.

RANK MAKE YEAR WATTS @ 45KPH

01 Cannondale SystemSix Disc 2019 203
02 Specialized Venge ViAS 2016 204
02 Trek Madone 2016 204
04 Cervelo S5 2016 205
04 Felt AR FRD 2016 205
06 Cervelo S5 Disc 2019 206
06 Factor One 2018 206
08 Canyon Aeroad 2016 208
08 Specialized Venge Disc 2019 208
10 Giant Propel Advanced SL 2016 210
10 Specialized Tarmac SL7 S-Works 2020 210

And with the O2 Vam, they show they can also super light bike.

Ostro will be interesting. Mine will arrive just after new year.
Was this the Rim or Disc version of the One?
NOW WITH MORE FLAVOR THAN KOOL-AID!

Size 56 …. It was fun for the summer, but not my favorite. Selling the frame with cockpit once I get round to taking it apart.
