Indeed.
Nice, was wondering when someone would get this color, looking forward to seeing the full build with weight.

Size 56 …. It was fun for the summer, but not my favorite. Selling the frame with cockpit once I get round to taking it apart.

Could go a size bigger at least
Just waiting on the right size Black Inc bar/stem. I got the frameset from a guy who had a guy back out because that guy got tired of waiting on it.

I must be in the wrong job! I thought I had a lot of bikes must ask how you afford so many/your partner lets you have so many?alexneumuller wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 5:58 pmApologies for delayed response.....
Just to clarify before hand, this is just my view on the Ostro, and I m in no way qualified to go indepth. I think the Ostro is good bike, not an okay bike, not a superbike, not an amazing bike. I must admit I struggle with bikes that try to cover to much of everything...climbing, aero, stiffness, handling, endurance. I prefer bikes that are more for specific tasks. The Ostro climbs well, but as it tries to be Aero I still don't find it the most responsive bikes. Plus although it handles okay, I feel there is no feedback in the frame of it feeling lively under me.
My other problem is that for the frame price I was expecting more ..... more feedback, more feelings, some kind of connection. It does everything well, but just not enough for that price point for a frame. When I look at my Taramc SL7 is struggle with similiar issues, good bike, but I prefered the SL6. The SL6 was way better at climbing, and the Aero disadvantages over an SL7 are nothing what I really worry about.
The Venge does what it says on the box......it doesnt claim to be an amazing climber....unless your an amazing rider.....but for pure speeds and to putting the hammer down it is just perfect. I do love it....am I keeping it ... maybe....I m doing a general clear out currently, as I have a few incoming frames this year.....Bastion, Enve, Speedvagen Ti, Sturdy and a Pinarello F (First ever Pinarello for me).
And what is my favorite bike.......my Speedvagen Steel Rim Brake Beauty. Hands down the winner currently.......and has been like that for the past few years.

I would be very interested to hear how your sturdy compares to your SL7, Enve, Bastion, Speedvagan and Pinerello!
I think I know the order you will rank them in but can't wait to see not been tempted by a Wyndy Milla? Also didn't fancy Sturdy's aero bike?
looking forward to your comparison of the Venge, Dogma F and Bastionalexneumuller wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 6:46 amAfter 13 years my wife and myself have arrived at a Detente status in regards to bikes.
In regards to Wyndamilla.....they seem a little behind the times in regards to carbon bike frame development.....and they managed to cover the fact up by crazy paintjob. Only bonus point was that their frames were made by Sarto as far as I know. It be interesting to see what their future holds....with Spoon Customs (love their bikes) under the same roof.
Must admit getting a Sturdy Aero bike was never in contention.......yet....hard to beat a Venge or a tricked out SL7 for Aero. I be interested to see it as a finished version when you get yours. Based in the UK?

Been looking at Prova and Tsubasa…. but got a Bastion coming and just placed deposit for a Baum RCC Edition. And I was thinking of getting a Tsubasa as lightweight climbing disc brake bike …. But went for a Festka Scalatore …. as I have plans for a special paint job…… stay tuned on this.Visus wrote:looking forward to your comparison of the Venge, Dogma F and Bastionalexneumuller wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 6:46 amAfter 13 years my wife and myself have arrived at a Detente status in regards to bikes.

Would you mind throwing a Prova Speciale and a Tsubasa into the mix?
