doubt there's any kinda special spacers with that
You need to select your bike while ordering, so I assume there is an individual spacer set available.

Unfortunately, Scott only sells up to 130mm stem lengths, which is too short for me.

Has anybody ever seen pictures from a Foil equipped with a TAVELO AVRO Gen 1 Integrated Handlebar?
Panda Podium is selling it in various sizes with - I assume so - a dedicated spacer set.
Are they running a non standard 1" steer tube top as well? otherwise you will need to shim.

Shim will be required. Not nice, but as the shim is out of carbon - at least from the EXS spacer set - the friction coefficient is very similar. So should be ok.

What I can't really understand is why Scott won't sell the Syncros cockpit sizes made for the pro teams like e.g. 360x150, 400x140mm.

The molds must be available and therefore you make money with each sold cockpit.

Maybe somebody has a clue on this besides maybe small demand expectations?

Maybe something related to financial issues they had (or may still having). At least here in UK levels of stock aren’t great, standard 380x110 has been out of stock more than a year. The seatposts with TPU insert aren’t available yet and will probably be in stock only early next year. New carbon spoked wheels were announced few months ago but no availability either.

Agree on bars, as that's the size I'm after.
Re seatpost - the replacement I received last week does have the TPU insert. Fitted yesterday, test ride today and blissful silence 👌

Was it UK based shop that you ordered from? I was told by one of the UK Scott dealers few days ago that the seatposts for sale in UK are currently of an old type and early next year TPU insert and updated seat post clamp will be available to order as separate items.

Anyone know if we're meant to grease the TPU insert or not?

I haven't seen an update to the user manual to clarify that.

There is general lack of availability of Scott and Syncros products. Has been for years now. I do get some insider information through some retailers, but I have heard nothing about what is the issue with production and if there is anything done to change that.
Im not really interested anymore also, because if someone expects me to shell out thousands for a new bike, I expect it and spares to be available.

Yes, it's through Pedal On, based in Tadley. They were told by Scott UK that only the original posts were available - apparently the most recent ones of those (without the TPU) were manufactured with "better tolerances" and that is what I would be sent.

However, the post I received did indeed have the TPU, so stock levels are maybe unpredictable and I just got lucky.

Just fitted mine without grease and its silent. My take is the flexibility of the TPU will absorb the vibrations and any movement between the two interfaces of the post, hence its an alternative to the grease / molykote.

Who's running 36x150?? I'd be keen to see that!

I can't imagine this not having a serious detriment to handling, due to the front axle being very rearward relative to both the rider's center of mass and their hands. Is it because the handlebar would be too high with a longer reach frame and shorter stem? I think I'd be working out a different method to get my handlebar where I want it.

I think bike handling is more robust than people give it credit for.

Shift your hands 2cm forward on the hoods. Bike still handles fine (at least mine does).
