I had Eagle F1s on my Porsche 911SC.
I'm running Eagle F1, non tubeless, 32mm. On Zipp 303 firecrest. Measure 31.5mm on rim with 21mm internal width.
The wheels were brand new when I switched to these tyres. So it might have been the wheels. But comfort increased significantly when I made this change. I moved from Challenge 36mm Strada Bianca open tubulars.

What country are they made in? Taiwan or somewhere else?
I don't se anywhere that they are tubeless ready. An article mentions GY is currently working on a Tubeless version, is it out yet?

Anyways, 190g for the 25mm width and 205 for the 28mm is pretty damn good. Looking forward to the first Crr tests

Are there any bicycle tyre brands not made by Hutchinson?
Who are the big players out there? Anyone who can point me to an article?

The are in fact, lots of tiremakers out there. Goodyear tires were developed by a company called a Rubber Kinetics Inc., and supposedly they make the tires themselves, but I don’t have proof of that. If so, the tires should have a Made in Taiwan stamp on it.
Only Pirelli, some Zipp, some Mavic are made by Hutchinson currently AFAIK.
