For anyone interested, I bought a Teammachine SLR01 Three last week in size 54 and no issue with clearance on my Enve SES 4.5 AR discs running 28mm tires which come out at 30.5mm. Will post pics next week. Bike in shop having steerer cut.

Teammachine slr01 three with Enve 4.5 disc ar's and Fizik Vento Argo r1 saddle. Force Axs chain and cassette swapped out for red. A lot quieter, Will likely change the bars to Enve SES AR's also, which will allow me to run the brakehose inside the bar right up to the stem so 100% hidden.

I want to replace the 15mm offset teammachine seatpost with an inline version. This corresponds to part 301143 in the BMC FY18 parts catalog and seems to the only version available to buy online. The post is 330mm in length.

However checking the BMC FY20 parts catalog for the same post reveals a different part nyumber and from checking the BMC manual it's 400mm length.
"301896 teammachine SLR01 seatpost, 0mm offset"
https://bmc-switzerland.s3.amazonaws.co ... t+list.pdf
Does anyone know if their might be any other differences ? I have read about slipping BMC seatposts from 2018 era onwards and just wondering if BMC have made any design changes to the 2021 version other than the length.
Also, is it simply a matter of loosening the clamp, removing old post, installing new post (carbon paste on sides and back first), and tightening the clamp. Or will I have to regrease the wedge first or do any other faffing around.
Thanks

Thanks for the info.
I found this. Clearly says used on MY21 SLR01/SLR and 400mm long. This is what I have now, and mine has 15mm setback.

I also found this. And you can see this the for MY18 to MY20 SLR01 seatposts.
https://www.bmc-switzerland.com/intl_en ... tpost.html
And you can see above from the name "301896" which correponds to the post available in the MY20 parts catalog (https://bmc-switzerland.s3.amazonaws.co ... t+list.pdf). So looks like this is the post availble from Bike24.
My guess is they must have changed something in the design (perhaps the weight or carbon layup) in 2021 if they are using a different part number. And I'd really have no way of knowiing even if I bought the post. In actual fact if you look at the BMC spec on the 2021 SLR01 and compare it to the SLR, they lilst the SRL01 having a premium carbon seatpost and the SLR as just a carbon seatpost. So my guess is there is no 2021 SLR01 post in the retail channel yet.
To be honest it's a pure indulgence. My position is good. It is just I have my saddle pretty much all the forward and cannot mount my ortlieb micro saddle bag as not enough horitzontal rail so I will probably buy a silca seat roll asymetrico which can mount on the curved part of the rails. Also there is a slighy cosmetic blemish on the post as it slipped during the fit. Probably not worth spending 200 euro on a replacement.

Try Contender bikes in Salt Lake City, UT or R&A in Brooklyn, NY.
Lots of bikes: currently riding Enve Melee, Krypton Pro, S Works Crux, S Works Epic Evo, SL7.

I'm looking at a SLR one, it comes with the ICS2 stem but I was told by the shop that this model is an exception and has the same square fork as the 01 models, so it's possible to interally route the cables if you want. Anyone who owns this model can you confirm your fork is the squared off steerer and you have the hole in the back of the steerer tube to interally route it?Ettore wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 1:09 pmHi, you are correct, the SLR01 and SLR are different bikes, with a different layup as well. The internal cable routing is only possible on BMC’s with a flat steerer, and every SLR01 has a flat steerer, and every SLR has a round steerer. Mounting the ICS stem is possible on both, but just because you have an ICS stem, does not mean that you can run cables through the bearings. If you’re set on running cables internally, I would sell the bike and buy and SLR01. But of course, an SLR01 starts at more than twice the price of the bike you have now..Hw44 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 10:48 amHello everyone.
I just finished building SLR FOUR on Shimano 205 and noticed there is no option to fit ICS stem so have cables fully internally. I was thinking you can buy ICS stem and just replace it with original but the fork is different to SLR01. Do anyone know If I am wrong and missing something ? The fork is round so I think you cannot only replace stem but fork as well.
I prefer the stock external routing for ease of maintanence, but it's nice to know if I can change my mind I can get someone to redo the routing to be internal, especailly once I dial in my stack height.
