The new Teammachine is allegedly getting those integrated cages and removable toolbox. Not sure what’s confusing about that.

I hope we're getting new Team and Timemachine soon. BMC showed some Timemachine drawing on the Instagram last week.

it's too soon for a new timemachine.. it's been <2 years and they are not specialized. Last timemachine road went nearly 6 years before being replaced.

Besides if you read what BMC wrote on the post it is clear why they posted the picture

- cockpit will be one piece "upon request". Unsure if this means that they keep the usual ICS.
- unfortunately (for me at least), aero toolbox is there.
- tube shaping a bit more "squished" for aero.
- fork has changed a bit, but more or less, it still looks very much like a BMC.
Do you know if they were able to improve weight?

No idea sorry - I'm just reporting what I've read on an Italian forum, where people with a good relationship with dealers have been shown the bike and have reported their impressions. I'm sure the same "treatment" will have been given to others here, so hopefully somebody will be able to chime in with more details..
If they put toolbox I thing the weight will go up. If I'm right in Timemachine toolbox with bottle cages and probably bottles weight about 0,5 kg.
Can anyone confirm that?

72+44+27+111. ~254g. + 44 (actual empty pouch) so 298g

each bottle was 91g+91+298=480g .. so you are pretty close

The BMC website is down, potentially being updated as I type?

I hope so. I want 30mm clearances so I can run mud guards for winter riding.

Read somewhere else:
World announcement 16 July
more aero
lower seatstays
integrated bottles
up to 30mm tire clearance
integrated bar and stem combo
completely hidden cables
slight price increase
I'll take that as long as it retains the geometry and the chararacteristics of the previous generations.

Big yes to all of these. Except the price increase of course, but that's expected. I know a lot of people don't like the integrated bottles/compartment that's on the TMR, but I personally like it. It's designed for aero which provides much more benefit than the weight penalty.

I hated the fact that the aero module added 500g to my Timemachine. I subsequently removed the storage case and was still stuck with relatively heavy bottle cages. I also disliked the weird appearance of the downtube/BB area without the case.
