48/35x10-33t is what you want.
Saved me a ton of time, cheers! :P

I used Red AXS group for about eight months. Switched from Shimano DA Di2.

1. Front deraileur works good even under load but requires insanely precise installation. I used laser level for alignment. Ordered AXS FD tool.
Can you tell me where you ordered it? So far I've only found this shop that is selling it (pre-order for shipment in July); but it is listed as for 50-52 teeth chainring – is it really size-specific? I'm thinking to get one to fine tune my FD with 48/35 rings.

Oh nice, thanks! So if I mix it up a bit, the 35 front with a 33 rear will maybe give me something like a 34/31? Or would it be even less you think?

SRAM Force AXS owner for 1y+, problems with FD almost solved w chain catcher from Canyon. No chain noise issues like some others users. Main problem is that the brakes engage too late, risk of fingers stuck behind the shift tabs, quite a scary feeling when it happens. All sorts of ajustment and bleed tried w/o any significant effect, problem also reported by other users on this (great) forum.
Will revert to fishing wheel at next buy.
Cheers

The Force set on my TCR advancedSL is 48/35 with a 10/28 cassette and the ratios are brilliant. I moved from a DA9000 group with 53/39 x 11/28 which I've been riding for the last 4 or 5 years and I much prefer the AXS set-up. It matches or exceeds the outer ratios of the DA, but it has much better gear steps and i've found it much easier to find the right ratio. particularly climbing in 35x19. that gearing is almost transcendent! And then there are the steps up to 21/24/28 but i'm using that end of the cassette a lot less than I was on the DA given the chainrings.

Yep. Ordered there. 50-52 mentioned as largest chainring. So the tool is universal.

This is basic arithmetic... 34/35*33=32.057

Wicked, thanks akaspin! Hopefully the estimated shipping dates won't get delayed (SRAM's production seemd to be hit pretty hard by the pandemic due to lack of raw materials; I ordered a chainset in March and was told the delivery was delayed to July)

1400km on my Red AXS. No drop chain whatsoever. Works perfectly fine. Only complain is the connection with SRAM mobile apps is not good, but that's just an occasional check on updates.
Before this was on R8070 DI2, I would say Red's shifting is as good as DI2, but prefer the left/right click and it's quieter compared to my Di2.

I guess LBS mechanics plays a big part in the setup, glad that my regular mechanics is quite experience handling SRAM.

Seen a full Force groupset but the disc brakes are subbed with Avids.

https://www.bike-components.de/en/SRAM/ ... 5-48-10-33

What you make of that? Is there a shortage of the Force disc brakes or is it just a bit of cheeky profiteering?

Price is good, £1380 delivered to the UK.

Besides my first ride when I just got the bike and tried to put power down through a stop street and snapped my chain, mine has been flawless.
Basically I had a weak link from the factory and it wasn't even the connector link it was just a random link in the chain.
Replaced chain and its amazing since

I'm again with this here. It is probably too alien for most, but a 46x10-50 is worth some consideration.

I just did a particularly long ride this weekend with it, and definitely consider to take it for my next trip to the Alps this summer.

A 48x10-52 could be the perfect one.

Still having issues on my Canyon. I need to take my bikes over to the LBS with SRAM's new FD tool. If that doesn't solve my problems, I'll probably push SRAM to give me my money back on those drivetrains.

Have full red AXS except cassette. It's okay. I like the levers and looks. Rear shifting is okay. Lately have been getting some missed/weird/double shifts going to easier gears. One thing I found was noise/creaks from the Force cassette was solved by taking it off and re-greasing the XDR threads/freehub body. Front derailleur is a pain to set up. Needs to be 100% correct. I've got it to a reasonable point. I had about 5-10 chain drops in and out. Now it's okay and no drops but it's a little slow and I'm cautious. I had 2 11 speed red ETAP Groupsets as well. Found the shifting a smidge better there. I think this chain is really stiff. I'm also getting a lot of rotor rub on the front from a combo of a very very slightly out of true front rotor and a little bit of fork flex and sticky piston. The sticky piston is likely the bigger culprit. I have lubed the piston with fluid and pushed in/out with blocks as per manual. But still sticky/lazy. Have the dub spindle and power meter and those are fine. With it was removable spider. Wish the force cassette wasn't coated black. Also the cassette prices are steep. Stock centreline AXS 6 bolt rotors are also tough to keep true in my case.
