But one thing caught my eyes is non-standard steerer tube.
Yes likely how they keep the HT slender yet have room for cable routing?

Harder to manufacter than a sraight tube (see BMC issues)
Cyclocross, in general, is about riding the wrong bike for the conditions.

It is harder to manufacter any carbon tube with a sharp bend over even a moderate curve as carbon, more so at certain grades, can be rather brittle when putting the layup in a mould. It appears to be their solution to permit the hoses to come through.

Given the use of modern engineering and CAD tools and experienced far east factories, the frame will offer fairly reasonable performance in terms of frame parameters, aero is entirely an other matter. The S or about 52cm size becomes the odd duck with a 55mm trail. Lively and sharp on most roads, but a possible handful on fast descents. The Red AXS 1.1 build is specified to weigh in at 17.09lbs/7.75kg, but those Oval Concepts 950 weigh in at 1770g for a 50mm depth. You can certainly lose about 170-200g at that point pretty easily and get what would be likely a better wheelset. Add Dura Ace and your below 7.5kg.

Looking at the certain visual cues, I see a more all around aero approach then an all out aero bike. The seat tube and post doesn't go to the depth of some and the rear seat stays show some degree of deflection in design. As for the rim brake compatibility, my guess is that this was on the screen for a bit as its parent likely caused delays with its recent bankruptcy restructure. Since they had the design and possibly the mold done, it come to bore. I see rim brake designs still viable in the more climb oriented designs where STW becomes the priority as does overall weight, but not here.

Anyone else think it looks a lot like the BMC Roadmachine?

Think you’re right. Looking at the UCI frame list, it’s showing this new Transonic was tested in the first half of 2018.

Looking nice.
Can you confirm if the steerer tube is round on your model?
It seems that the 2nd tier class use round steerer tube and 1.1 class use non round steerer tube. But I can not confirm it.

I got an email reply from Fuji stating that the disc versions of the frame (1.1 and 2.1) will come with the "ovular, non-round, style fork". "This ovular shape allows us to route the brake lines and Di2 wires under the bar tape, through the stem, and into the frame without ever being exposed which both creates clean lines and improves the aerodynamic profile of the bike. The Transonic Disc 1.1 frameset will include the frame, fork, headsets, stem, seat post, derailleur hanger, front and rear thru-axles, and bars."

1.1 with all that for 2k is nice. if fuji would let you get the right stem and handlebar width if purchased through a brick and mortar that would be a truly killer package, I've always found them to be flexible with customer service.

I asked this exact question and they said at this time of get what is average for the frame size starting with 38mm for the smallest frames and going up from there.

Hi guys just arrived. So first look is awesome look stiff. I weight the bike include garmin mount 7580. So after my upgrades I will send you again final weight. Stem is overweight so I will change stem and handlebar.

Guys I just did the final upgrades bike is suppers tiff amazing ride. Final weight 7.430. I use 120mm stem S-Works venge in order to be nice on the original spacer. Bike can reduce a lot of weight if you go for carbon saddle and integrated handlebar. 7. 430 weight included everything pedals favero assioma duo wahhoo stem mount, bottle cages.
