Why subject yourself to this unless you're actually going to race TTs? The tread on the Pro One TT TLE is thinner than the Corsa Speed's. Corsa Speed treads last about 800mi max...and that's assuming you don't get chronic punctures first.

I’m not endorsing the Galactiks as anything other than the lightest tubeless tire out there. Panaracer’s new tubeless tires are claims to be pretty light, but I haven’t weighed them. In all likelihood I will be racing on 28mm Corsa Controls next season for all parcours.

I can't seem to find a thread on this. So i'll add it here.

What is a good tubless sealant? I was thinking of using the specialized one first, since i think my first set of tubless tires will probably be the rapid air.

Mostly everybody on this forum loves Orange Seal sealant. But I think those Specialized tires come with their sealant so you might as well try it.

A little splash of soapy water is hardly a mess. We don't know how they popped this one on since they cut the video as he was struggling and went to the next step.

I know they poped on because you evidently havent picked up on the fact that I'm the one putting them on.... The other one went on easier still and havent had to use a lever for any of the RT setups ive done over the last month or 2. Ive got over a dozen wheels to do this week if you want me to film some more.

I just did a set of GP5000TLs. I let them sit in the sun for 10 minutes and used a little soapy water they went on easily by hand.

If I can get a tire on easily by hand, I know I can get it off just as easily. I won't have soapy water out on a ride and it also means I no longer need to carry levers unless I want to be charitable to others.

Soap just makes the tyre more slippery to handle. As Tobin says, if it wont go on dry it likely wont come off dry so keep it simple and work the tyre in the channel.

It also means I can just carry a single minimalist Continental lever in my saddle bag to get me out of trouble if im having a bad day.

I dont get tubeless for road

I went back to latex tubes after multiple punctures
Nothing sealed and I was never able to ride home without taking off the tyre and putting in a tube (which is more effort with tubeless tyres)

I've read apparently a clincher tire fitted with latex tubes and sealant inside works as good if not better than a tubeless specific setup as the latex in the sealant adheres better to the tube than the inside of the tire?
