the largest sprocket on the red xg-1190 cassette is wider than all the other cogs, has anyone tried had success using the xtr chain with it?

Am I right that there are no Shimano 12s chain pins? I need to extend my xtr chain but don't want to use 2 quicklinks on the same chain. Thoughts?

Nothing wrong with using 2 quick links and a section of chain in between. Works perfectly and you will be the only person who knows.

Simple solution: don't use an Eagle 12s chain!

Of course it is. That would generally require 113 links.

the M6100 chain works on DuraAce and Ultegra too? Or just the XT and XTR?

Gotta admit after putting on an xtr chain on ultegra crank and DA cassette that the noise is the same and the shifting quality is pretty poor

Are the chainrings and cassette in good condition? My own experience is opposite of yours.
