Any Cervelo R5 Disk owners out there?

On a whim, I decided to order a Cervelo R5 disk Team Sunweb team frameset at an incredibly low price of $2000 from Bike24. I always loved the Sunweb team bikes and lucked out at this price. For owners of this bike, can you tell me what are the strenght and weaknesses of this bike? BTW I plan on building it with Dura Ace 9170 di2 and Bora WTO 45mm wheels. This will be my first disk road bike. Thanks!

It's a cracking deal! or is it the "proper" price of a bicycle...

Heard loud noises coming out of the Matthew's S5 if my memories are correct (many have questioned the Cervelo marketing team to allow such a clip to be published on YouTube). If R5 is coming out of the same factory as S5, you may consider using one-piece or the thread-together BB, just not the press fit.

It's all ok with R5's BB. In fact, that might be the best BB of any Cervelo to date (definitely, comparing to earlier, pre-2015 models), as it is a completely solid carbon shell.
I did initially have creaking, but eventually tracked it down to not-too-well tightened RAT axle.
Other than it, the bike is a really solid one; and for $2000, the frameset is a steal.

The creaks in Matthew's S5 most likely came from the steerer-stem-handlebar assembly. It's maybe the best fully-integrated solution I've ever seen, and a really stiff one too, but it does have a tendency to creak, unfortunately.

I think there are many bottom brackets that, if installed correctly, don't cause any issues with the Bbright. My favourite is the C-bear from Belgium.

The C-bear cups are not glued with loctite etc., they are just pressed using anti-seize paste.

Don't use the stock cervelo headset expander. But as a WW I doubt u would have even considered it.
