Colnago C64 Internal Cable Routing

Hi
The below link gives quite a lot of details about fully internal cable routing on C64, but they only mention the case of hydraulic brakes + EPS. Same for the different builds I have see here, only discs+EPS
I am considering the building of a C64 with discs and mechanical campy shifting, would the 4 cables (2 hydraulic and two shifting cables) fit in the tube?

I would not count on it. Because the shifter cables are much stiffer you would probably have issues with shifting if they went through the bars. Would be a nightmare to build as this causes alot more issues - for example where would the shift cable housing end? you can't really run a full length of shifter cable housing to the derailleurs...

I was considering your second point, and actually using the down tube hole (designed for having the shifting cables entering the frame) as a stop and start for housing, that would require a bit of DIY but I am not too afraid of that (unless you have a specific idea why this might be bad?).
Your first point though, is the one that worries me the most. The angle from stem to head tube specifically seems way too tight indeed, maybe by digging in the tube there might be a way to make that angle smoother?

When you go full internal routing, it's time to go eTap, Di2, or EPS. Just make your life easier!
Colnago doesn't seem to have any documentation online for routing cables. I see one hole into the fork for the front brake cable. How does the rear brake cable route into the downtube?

You can see in the link I added to my first message, on pics #5 and #6 it looks like the hydraulic rear cable and the di2 one are going arround directly from the head tube to the down tube ...
And to your first point, #1 I guess I'm still a bit old fashioned and prefer mech shifting (I like it simple, I don't like having yet another battery to take care of, and hate the sound of the electric front derailleur shifting) and #2 I already have a spare brand new hydraulic super record groupset, so happy to save the 2 grant of their EPS equivalent!

I agree with you on batteries and electronics but I don't see you are going to hack some cable stops into the frame for the derailleur cables.
It would look pretty clean with the mechanical derailleur cables going through the bars and bottom of the stem, exiting the stem, and then going into the correct spot on the frame.

I was thinking about either modifying the piece on the below pic, or even 3D printing a new one that would fit in and work as a stop

I agree, but I guess I'll try and go the standard way if shifting is not smooth enough.
Actually even before considering bends, I'm not even sure yet that there is enough room for the four cables. So far I have only seen 2 hydraulic cables and one tiny electric EPS. Could someone confirm the four cables would fit in the head tube?

I think the 4x cables would fit in the head tube, but there's no way you'll route them through the SR9 stem. There isn't really enough room for the hydraulic and Di2 cables, let alone 4x mechanical cables. And that's just fitting them; forget mechanical with the negative bend angle from the stem to the head tube.

Aha! Yoln - sorry, I was mistaken. It was ymisyd's Colnago SR9 stem thread that had the photo I was thinking of, not the C64 topic threads. Suggest checking out ymisyd's posts.
For what it's worth, I've had no issue with Campy EPS/Hydraulic internal routing with the SR9 stem, but my LBS seems to have quite a bit of experience with BMC as well as Colnago internal routing builds.
