Hi all,
Does anybody know what dura ace model this rim is?
What are the original spokes named as?
What hub model is compatible or orginial?

It seems spokes go screwed and current c24hub and spokes are not compatible with it. Thanks.

7801 SL Scandium rim, circa 2007/08. The spoke nipples were mounted at the hub. I had the Dura Ace 7800 non scandium model. They were great wheels at the time, but the nipples at the hub made them a bit of a pain for mechanics, especially when working on the rear.

Either 7800 or 7801 hub model would work? Anywhere to find that hub? Im afraid it won´t be easy. Maybe another brand/model that would work?
How about spokes? Are they a specific brand/model. Thank you very much. Trying to build the front wheel.

The hub looks the same, but the spokes will not be. The scandium rim has no drilling inside the rim, the other models were drilled to house the spokes but the nipples were still at the hub. All parts, hub and spokes were 100% unique to this run of wheels. They were also available at ultegra level and below. The hubs from these lower levels may work, but the spokes would not. Even back then when the spares were available the cost of the individual parts was extortionate. I trashed a front 7800 rim, it was much cheaper buying a complete new wheel than sourcing and replacing the rim.

You can see here how the hubs differ from other designs
