Hi,

I need a 27.2 mm seatpost with min. 20 mm offset and a clamp system for carbon oval rails. Reasonably light and priced. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

I've literally just bought the S-Works Carbon Post fifteen minutes ago. It comes with all your requirements however, it's quite expensive at around 200 euro.

For reasonably priced get a ritchey superlogic and a steel bolt m6x35mm and the size appropriate lobes. Easy to find cheap. Looks awesome. Easy to install saddle and set. Nil saddle slip. Under 160g in 300mm.

For ultimate setback. Darimo. 86g in 250mm. Does everything well

My most recent Deda Superzero seatpost from Merlin cycles cost just just over 90eur (they do or did have 10% off at checkout) and ended up weighing a quite reasonable for the price 186g.

Check out Hylix posts on eBay, I've had 2 and have never had any issues

Deda superzero looks like a solid choice. Do you use it with a carbon railed saddle?

Yeah I have done on both occasions, once with round rails and now with oval.

I do, or at least have done. No problems at all. The clamp is a good one which is why I choose it over potentially lighter posts.

I've been using the FSA SL-K seatpost nearly everyday on my commuter for 3 years now. No problems, more comfortable than an aluminum post, only needed to readjust the height once a year.

avoid side bolt design, they are prone to slips, 2 bolt front and back is the gold standard

Ritchey WCS 1-bolt carbon.

Been using two on separate bikes for years. 150 grams, reasonably priced, no issues at all with the single bolt - it's a superb design. Just buy the adapter arms for oval rails (I use these on specialized romin evo pro, with oval carbon rails. No issue at all)
