@ Serkie. Those Enve rims have a 21mm internal width. Very curious as to the actual measurement of the 25mm Masters!
Gen 1 3.4 are 18.5 int.

I'm using masters on a Belgium+ so will measure what they come up as on a 20.5mm internal, if its the same size as the corsa they replaced they'll be 28mm. They're wide enough that you can see the both sidewall's looking down.

Thanks all.

@Pierre86: Do we know if @Serkie's rims are Gen 1 though?

Either way, those 25mm Masters are quite narrow considering they measure at 24.4 at 100psi (either on an 18.5mm rim (if Gen 1) or on a 21mm rim (if Gen 2))

Now all we need is BRR to get their hands on a pair!

Veloflex tend to stretch after some hundreds kilometers, normally between 1 and 2 milimeters.
thanks

So to summarise, @Serkie measures his Master 25's at 24.4 on a 20mm internal rim.

These tyres are thin A-F.

If you read before, it will mesure 26mm after some kilometers. I have a 25 on a 13c or 14c rim and it mesure 24,5mm.

So the Master 25mm measures the same 24.5 on a 14c rim and a 20c rim.

Hmmm. Those crazy Italians!

Do you understand the term "stretch" ? Or you just like to troll ?

I can't comment on the exact strech numbers of any veloflex, I know in other tires they do strech, but not that much really. I think 1mm total with tires like vittoria or michelin pro 4 comp, after say 1000km, 25 tires, whatever the width is when brand new, they are certainly wider after 1500Km, but 1mm. Again, not sure on the veloflex, maybe it's more, but... 2mm seems too much initially, but time will tell. Do you guys have actual data on those strech numbers?

I don't mean to troll or offend.

But the same 25mm tyre simply shouldn't measure the same on a 14c rim as a 20c rim - even allowing for 1-2mm of stretch.

What I was getting at RE: the Italians is their reputation for poor QC and poor tolerances. It's quite possible you are both right and simply have tyres from different batches :)

Italians design really great stuff, but their manufacturing (and warranty/support) falls short. I include Campagnolo in this (lately). Some of their stuff I bought in the last few years the finish was absolutely dog-awful and it got sent back.

Gen 2 is 21mm, I'm just doubtful as the rim is half a mm wider than mine at 20.5mm and my Masters measure 28mm at 75psi/50km old.

@Serkie : Any chance you can measure your front rim external width?
