I just got a 2022 Tarmac Expert and it came with the Expert Alloy handlebar. I really prefer a flat top aero handlebar. I can't find any Aerofly 2 or Rapide bars in stock anywhere. Are there any other good Aero handlebars that will allow the cable to be run internally, like the Specialized bars do?

Sigma Sports have 38,40, and 44cm rapid in stock. They shop worldwide by DHL and there bars currently have 12% discount £308
Thank you for the info. Of course, I use a 42cm, which is the one that's out of stock. :( I'll keep watching the site though.
Certini have them in stock across all sizes, full RRP though....

Thank you for the info. I appreciate the tip. This wont work however as it is RRP AND, with the weak USD, the price comes out 50% than RRP here. I'll just have to find one here in the US.

Lucky you. Mine slowly and steadily keeps getting delayed. Used to say 21/02 now it's 07/03. =(
A mate of mine went with PRO Vibe Aero due to Rapide handlebar supply issues. Here's a pic. Doesn't look bad but in an ideal world I'd still take the Rapide over it.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't noticed that bar before. It's pricey, but its an option.

Regarding the new bike, I was lucky. My mechanic told me my current bike would need new wheels and the bike was having other issues. So I started a new bike search thinking that it would take 4-9 months to actually get a bike. When I was on the Specialized site looking at Geometrys/Sizes, I clicked on the Bikes In Stock button, expecting to see nothing of interest. I was shocked to see a Tarmac Expert in my size. It was just random luck... I ordered it, and the bike shipped out the next day.

Do the 2022 SL7 Experts come with a Garmin Stem Mount? If they don't, have people found the Shapeways Garmin stem mount sturdy enough for a Garmin 1000/1030?

One more question re: the back of the bike... Is the Shapeways a good solution to mount the Garmin Varia to the seatpost?

Only Pro and S-Works come with the out-front mount in the box. You can, however, purchase it separately. It's called "Stem Accessory Mount" under the SKU "20021-1900".

I'd go with the Shapeways version over the Barfly. They're rock solid and weigh less. The Varia mount is a good option as well. I have the single bolt version and love it.

Thanks for this info. It looks like it is Out Of Stock everywhere in the US, so I'll try Shapeways.

Thanks for the feedback. It looks like the Spesh mount is out of stock, so I placed an order for the Shapeways thanks to your feedback and other positive comment here. It will take about 3 weeks t get here, but it looks like a good solution.

Are there any significant differences between the Aerofly 2 handlebar and the new/replacement Rapide handlebar? I can get an Aerofly now, or wait for the availability of the Rapide to improve, if the Rapide is better.

They are 2 different handlebars, the aerofly has a wider top and has a longer reach in sizes 40 and up, 38 has the same reach as the rapide. The rapide a shorter top section and has a 75m reach in all sizes

Total weight 7.230 in size 58. I've done my best but I've missed the target of 7.00

I still need to adjust the stem and spacers, and perhaps cut the fork again, It's currently at the highest position.
