Third 9270 build in as many days.
Amazing work as always Ryan and great details on your IG.

I am surprised neither darimo, mcfk, etc has done a SL7 specific (Carbon/weight weenie) stem or one piece cockpit. Seams to be a prime opportunity

A few questions ryan. Thx for the pic of these light build!!

1. Would you say the carbon ti ring plus quarq spider / arms be lighter overall than the red axs power chainset?

2. Whats the handlebar in this build?

3. Would you say the biggest weight dropping on the bike is the zipp wheels?

Thx!

Agree. Massive opportunity here to drop 50g+.

Yes, 100%

2. Whats the handlebar in this build?

380mm MCFK aero bar. 310mm on the hoods, 410mm on the drops.

3. Would you say the biggest weight dropping on the bike is the zipp wheels?

They're 100g+ lighter than most top end wheels. RSL37 and Roval Alpinist only other options really.

Thx!

The last one is beautiful. Your IG is very interesting with impressive bikes
I wish they continue to propose a direct mount option for old fashion guys like me... :unbelievable:

Beautiful! Out of curiosity, what is the frame size?

I don't suppose anyone has come across any native compatibility with the Hammerhead Karoo mount? I have a new Karoo 2 unit, and I have to fit the Garmin interface on the back of the unit, then fit that to the Garmin mount on the Spesh. I was kind of hopefully there might be an integrated option on the market to remove the Garmin interface. Cheers, Lee

If you don't mind 3D printed, there's this one: https://www.shapeways.com/product/J86CU ... arketplace. I've also seen some "hacks" that screw the Karoo mount piece to the out front Garmin mount. Here's the thread: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/ ... 0000029582.

I'm about to replace the 4iiii DA crank powermeter which comes with the SL7 as default. It reads more faulty than ever before. Already contacted 4iiii for firmware updates etc..

So I'm going for a power2max, as all my other bikes are already equiped with these reliable powermeters.

And these are the parts I'm in for:
- Power2Max NG 110-4-SL (120gr) (https://www.power2max.com/en/product/ng ... eter-road/)
- Rotor Road Axl 30mm (96gr) (https://rotorbike.com/catalog/default/r ... black.html)
- Rotor ALDHU Carbon Crank Arms 170mm (260gr) (https://rotorbike.com/catalog/default/a ... ranks.html)
- Shimano FC-R9100 110/52 chainring (110gr)
- Shimano FC-R9100 110/36 chainring (32gr)
- Shimano chainring bolts (+10gr)

I currently have the CBEAR BSA 24mm installed, this will be replace with a CBEAR BSA 30mm.

Any idea if I'm missing something here? Spaceres? Anyone who has this setup?

Hey everybody, do you know more about this frame? As far as I know a gloss black SL7 S-Works was never officially released, but I have seen it multiple times online now. One guy told me it is factory from Specialized and what you receive in a warranty case or as crash replacement? Does that mean that bike had a crash before and got new paint or is it a new frame with just gloss black in general? Because I think this one looks really cool.

If it is a crash replacement frame, they're new frames with a special colour scheme.
