Haha we are the same person. I'm 5'9 (1,76m) with 87 cm inseam. Your bike is my favorite bike in pretty much the same spec. I'd go for the matching Roval wheels and maybe the Selle Italia SLR Boost Tekno Superflow, but your build is both gorgeous and perfect.
thanks, its a tad chubby at the moment but if the right bits come along some weight will come off. Sadly not for sale but you should be able to source one in parts and put it together yourself - its a simple build process took me about 3 hours.
I've spoken to 2 bike shops in Germany and both are unable to source the S-Works (full bike) version. Frame doesn't look good either (though I'd prefer the full bike, because I like the wheel integration). Is tough luck for me. I'll probably just skip this generation and stay on my Venge since Specialized seems to not want to satisfy my demand. 😛
first ride complete, hard to assess as the conditions were grim (Richmond Park London) so now its caked in road grime. Felt good over a 30k semi fast pace, frame size is spot on - all these years riding small frames with mahosive seatpost sticking out now well and truly behind me!
Oh.... and ive had it with Enve tyres, 3 cuts / flats in the space of two weeks.
I've actually been really happy with the Specialized Turbo tyres. Not a single puncture in 4 years (probably jinxed myself now).

Yeah, prices increase every year. It's called inflation. Welcome to reality. Get over it. Do you also expect your wage/income to decrease year-on-year?

Only if you're in the US. Or at best, stay the same for years.

How many times Specialized have raised their prices over the years? It's not inflation anymore if they raise their prices 5-10% 1-2 times per year. 10th January Specialized just raised again their prices 5% in Nordic countries because of increased freight, labor and raw material costs in Asia.
That 200 € might be an inflation increase before a real big S increase is added. :D

Maybe this inflation is hitting really hard on Specialized as we don't see anything like that on other bike brands.

Don't know if these are new or old prices but these are on site
SL7 with DA9250/Red AXS 15400 € (=17460 $)

US prices:
SL7 DA9250 14250 $ (=12570 €)
SL7 Red AXS 13750 $ (=12130 €)

That's absolutely crazy... Never thought I'd call myself lucky, but considering that I just bought my 2020 S-Works SL7 frame for 4200€ - basically a steal now :D

This is the same talk about rising house prices. I'll abstain from it.

I just got a 2022 Tarmac Expert and it came with the Expert Alloy handlebar. I really prefer a flat top aero handlebar. I can't find any Aerofly 2 or Rapide bars in stock anywhere. Are there any other good Aero handlebars that will allow the cable to be run internally, like the Specialized bars do?

What frame color did you receive and where are you located? I'm waiting for an Tropical Teal Expert in Canada.

You can run the Enve Aero bar or the Pro Vibe Aero or really any other bar since the SL7 stem takes any 31.8mm bar

The bike is being delivered here in Albuquerque on Friday. I am getting the Maroon / Black / Light Silver, in size 58cm.

Thanks for the info re: handlebars. Will the bars you metioned allow for the brake line to be run through them?

Thank you for the info. Of course, I use a 42cm, which is the one that's out of stock. :( I'll keep watching the site though.
