Just took delivery of Roval Rapides in size 38. Scowered the internet for bike shops around the USA and found one with a pair who was willing to ship. It's like striking gold.

Can you buy a integrated K edge mount for the sl7? I see some of the pros have them on the bike. I can't find them online.

I emailed k-edge about this a while back. Here's what I got in response:

Thanks for reaching out! The SL7 mount is currently only available for Pro teams, but we may make it available in the future. Keep an eye on our social media pages for the latest on upcoming products.

That's annoying. I know there's a huge market for it. Tons of people ride on SL7

Would the K edge one not be heavy? I am very happy with my 3d printed one.

Does anybody use a Selle San Marco saddle with carbon rails on his SL7 Seatpost? The rails are 9,8 x7mm

I used Fizik saddles with 7 x 10mm rails, without problems, if the Selle rails do not have a dramatically different shape they should work too.

So I basically fell in love with the SL7 red/black and it seems like sold out except one store (Europe).
Are the SL7 sold off because an SL8 is on the horizon? I'd finally go for the (current) dream bike and don't wanna spent big money on a frame that's "old news" in 8 weeks...

I tried to find some info on an SL8 but could find anything....

You kind-of answered your own question already. If there would be one coming, you'd find something already. Prototype pictures from some Pro team and the likes.
However, even by normal release cadence for Tarmacs, we should be least one year away from a new iteration.
Usually they come around every 3 years, and the SL7 popped up officially end of July 2020 (with some sneak peeks happening e.g. during the Tour IIRC). So one TdF to go - if there are no further implications from the whole Corona mess

I agree... normal cycle for Specialized has been every 3 years. That has been the same for almost all of the models, both road and MTB for the last 8-10 years or so, with a few exceptions. Usually new colorways for the upcoming year are announced in August, so you'll probably see fresh colors announced then for a 2023 Model year SL7..... then in July of 2023, expect to see an SL8 for the tour, with limited frames sold to the public and then mass release for Model Year 2024.
