For rear light, also just got one of these.
22g and no cables needed to charge. Pretty neat little solution I think.

And as for carrying a tube, nope, don't carry one.

I have a Dynaplug which can fix anything pretty much.
If I needed to boot a tyre and stick a tube in, I would rather just get an Uber home.
Also carry a dynaplug and some co2. never used it though. No tube with me.

I tried the dynaplug once and gave up on it, could not get it right (could be me...). I just wouldn't feel at ease without the spare tube I'm afraid, wish I could feel as confident as you :D

We don't have Uber over here, and getting a 100km ride home would cost me a fortune

But have you ever put an innertube into a tubeless tire full of sealant? Not a fun job, and the sealant makes it near impossible to find the culprit of your puncture.

That is a great light! How is the battery life? I use one that is similar https://www.knog.com/product/plus-rear/ but i have issues with the magnets staying in place. I'm on my 2nd one because of it.

I never said it was fun, I'm aware it's gonna be a dirty job, but it'll solve my problem. Usually if the puncture isn't self-sealing it's quite obvious where it is... and if the puncture is big there will be no sealant left to make a mess :-D

I've had the issue once, I punctured on a screw in september 2019, put in a tube (the hole was just too big to seal) and rolled with it until beginning of february 2020, when I went back to tubeless I had issues all the time. Turned out the screw had also damaged my rim tape, so I had to put in a tube again, but at least I could finish the ride (I was in Spain...).

So yeah, I just prefer to be sure, even though it's been 30.000km since with no issues, only had one puncture and that self sealed, though I had to change the tyre because I couldn't inflate it past 3 bar since that opened up the hole too much (thats when I was messing around with the dynaplug and couldn't make it work).

But beside that I love tubeless and I'm thinking I'll never go back, just like the MTB.

Agree with the post above, I always carry a tube, I find it odd that people don't! I've recently come over from MTB so I'm probably just overly paranoid. Still, I'm regularly a long way from home and would rather be safe than sorry.

Any mechanics who have serviced the headset on an SL7 please?

How easy is it?

Just wondering if you can actually manage to remove the fork without cutting the front hose anymore?

It was touch and go on the SL6, but just doable, but that was before the 'super integration' we have now.

Got a choice to make between a couple of frames and need some advice.

Cheers

You need to cut the front hose to get the fork out and both hoses if you want to get both bearings out.

That's why I always add a generous amount of slack to my builds, at least enough for one cut to the hoses.

The new WC paint job will not be sold to customers. Very sad. Best paint job so far.

I could see going no tube if you’ve got dynaplug.

Where are you keeping the multi tool / dynaplug / co2 without a saddle bag? Jersey?
