New Bontrager Integrated Bar/Stem
Moderator: robbosmans
Spotted a new integrated bar/stem on Bauke Mollemas Lombardia Emonda.
I imagine this is the part that will be stock on the new Emonda expected in the first half of the new year.
Cable are exiting out of the bottom of the stem, this hints to the configuration on the new Emonda - it doesn't look like it will be fully integrated, maybe something like the new Domane?
The original XXX integrated bar was a nice bit of kit, and very light - hopefully this one is the same!

handle bar/stem area is the biggest area to gain aero. more watts than a frame/wheelsets.
next gen emonda will be ~20 watts less drag than the current brick.

Looks like the standard VR-C/VR-CF bends, so quite rounded, but not that "classic" bend some people are after.
What's important to note is it will probably have the same 93mm reach as other Bontrager bars...1cm longer than most bars. More than 2cm longer than Zipp SL-70s Aeros.

looks like a vision.
i think the scott creston ic sl is the way to go. wish scott got their distribution together. they make the effort to spin off a syncros product site, but then make no effort providing product data or making it easy to purchase. sucks.

Nice find. I'm going to wait to see what the final weight comes in at, and might grab one for my Emonda, when it comes out (depending on price).
