isn't that BB30 bearing size ? .... which I have used for many years with M3, Classic and now SE cranks... but I just got a BB86 frame that I am using a SE cranks with.. I know not the ideal bb standard for 30mm ID.. but I check it often and so far it's very smooth still.

FWIW, the main reason I didn't do it is because the Chris King ceramic BB is better than the THM one in my opinion.

Lets just say the bearing size of a bb86 shell with 30mm crank is a compromise. Balls and/or races need to be undersized relative to other setups.spdntrxi wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2019 12:52 amisn't that BB30 bearing size ? .... which I have used for many years with M3, Classic and now SE cranks... but I just got a BB86 frame that I am using a SE cranks with..
