You will need a new freehub - the campy 12s freehub body is a different spline pattern and mounting interface than the SRAM XDR freehub body standard.RuiTerrinha wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 4:28 pmthank you, but that was not my question.
I have a pair of wheels with campagnolo 12speed body, and I am wondering if I could fit a SRAM XDR cassette on this wheels.
Thank you
Depending on your wheel they should have replacment freehubs bodies for XDR.

Shimano 12 cassette on Campy 12 is what I'm hoping for too.Stefano wrote:Apologies if this was covered already:
What is the center to center spacing of the 12s Campagnolo cogs (mm)?
Any word if Shimano 12s cassettes are compatible with Campagnolo 12?

hey guys, i have read this thread a few times and currently have campy 2x12 speed on the my gravel bike with an XDR 10-36 cassette and sram flat top chain. Recently it isnt shifting well at all and could be from a bent rear d hanger and the cassette is getting on a little.
I am wondering if anyone out there knows how this would shift if i get a GRX RX810 rear d? the only issue i can think off is the spring tension difference between campy and shimano and what the clutch might do also. Can someone let me know what they think and ideally if they have tried it?

My Recon Campy 12sp cassette came in last night
Mounted it on my Bora 1 and give it a go on the rollers. Shifted okay with a little adjustment but it does make more noise as its a monoblock and kind of hollow which no big deal and I am happy with the way it shifts plus the bike is lighter. I also ordered the Edco Shimano 12sp for a set of DA wheels on the way and its 11/29 weighing in at 195g and the box claiming 178g with the website claiming 183g.
The box said 188g for the 12/29 but the website claimed 206g but when I weighed it came out to 202g which I am good with.Mounted it on my Bora 1 and give it a go on the rollers. Lockring only weighs 5g so nope. It should be assumed as the cassette is kind of useless without a lockring. Either way I am still happy as its lighter than the SR 11/29 and shifts reasonably well.

I was very happy with the Recon 12-29 that I got last Summer as was a good weight saving and shifted nicely as well as pretty quiet.
Trying an Edco one this year, just arrived and a few g heavier than Recon and luckily not in the gaudy gold finish, will report back once so have tried it.
They look very similar overall so hope this shifts as good as the Recon

My experience with Recon/Edco is that:
- I am now 100% convinced that they are the same builder, the look feel and shift very much identical
- I consider them bulletproof having riden more than 25k miles on them over almost 3 years now. First on 11s with SR and Record derailleurs (11-27, 11-29 and 11-32) and now on 12s (11-29) with SR
- They are lounder than OEM campy, but that's because of the hollowness of them, so more of a metallic pleasant sound to me than anything
- Very much true to weight, always within a +/-5g of advertised weight. And yes, I've had them below in the past, especially on 11-29 11s version
I only whish they would now do an Ekar cassette, but they told me it's not in their plans anytime soon...

Reviving an old thread after having finally got time to fit the cassette on my "race day" wheelset and overall pleased with the Edco cassette.
First time Im using this kind of monoblock cassette and there's only 1 gear where it's a little noisier otherwise not bad at all.
I hope it last as much as reported from others.
