How well does Lycra hold up against existing lattice style saddle shells?

The open lattice sections are recessed where lycra wont touch, shouldn't be an issue.TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 11:59 pmHow well does Lycra hold up against existing lattice style saddle shells?
I'm curious how much dirt/grime/gunk will eventually fill up the saddle though.
Me too. The S-Works Power was my first saddle after a 14-year absence and I loved it.

These materials claim being lightweight while having more strength, but not sure if the benefits (improved comfort/vibration damping) will remain the same over the life of the product like a saddle? Won't the motion of the rider eventually change the structure of the polymers and how the saddle feels over time?
If yes maybe it's a good thing since none sits perfectly on a saddle and it might actually help with that, if the polymer structure is significant to allow that to happen.

Foam is probably worse about permanent deformation than macro geometric lattices...
Interesting but expected application of the technology. Will look with interest but for several years now, you are better waiting for second generations to have a product really refined.
Considering specialized integrated approach, curious if can expect aerofly “bar tape” or brakehoods with the same approach.

Didn't get a weight on it. I'll have more info next week on the weight of it.
I'm pretty picky on saddle and when I got to ride this I installed it level and went out. There was no pressure and full support where needed. I could probably lower my front end as well. Currently on a power arc from a S works power.
