I'm currently using the last gen Look Keo Blade with Look 0 deg grip cleats. To my understanding, My shoe isn't supposed to move around on the pedal, but i get this loose feeling when i twist my foot around. This is worrying cuz when i'm putting down the power, the last thing i want is my foot to come out of the cleat. And thats happened a couple of times already

How old is the cleat? I found this to be the case when the cleats are end of life.

when i got too anoyed of it being loose, i immediately changed to brand new look keo grip cleats. So they're brand new with less than 10 walking steps on them.shuttlenote wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 12:00 amHow old is the cleat? I found this to be the case when the cleats are end of life.

They come ins 12,16 and 20nm spring tension so might be normal if you have the lowest ones. On Shimano pedals if you adjust the spring the cleat float also increases or decreases. But it shouldn't make you unclip unexpectedly, do you find they unclip too easily?

So basically your foot isn't stable enough for 0deg cleats, but you're using them anyway. What's happening is the 0deg cleat's lack of float means it engages the spring/release as soon as your foot twists. My half-assed solution was to crank the spring down on my non-Blade pedals to near maximum retention. This was annoying in daily riding, so I just went back to gray cleats.
