My custom US-made Castelli Aero Race kit fits looser than the Europe-made retail kit. Not a surprise, but worth noting for people who wear one or the other...or both. I am still a small regardless, but the retail kit is pretty snug whereas the custom kit is ever slightly roomier in the sleeves and gut.

Love my FAR bibs and Climbers jerseys. That's all I've been wearing all summer.

For those who have both the Aero Race and Climbers jerseys, do you wear the same size, or do you size up for the Aero Race? I wear an XL in the Climbers and it's a snug, but comfortable fit, the way a jersey should fit, imo (doesn't flap in the wind, but I can still move in it). My SanRemo is a L, and it is tight, I only wear it for racing.
Same size.

Same size.
Thanks!!

I'm guessing the Aero Race jersey is a lil heavier material than the climbers? Our team kits only came in Podio and Climbers, guessing Aero Race is somewhere in between as far as fabric weight?

Correct. It's not paper thin like the Climbers.

Don’t agree on the Rapha service part. I stopped buying Rapha some two years ago. But recently crashed in their Pro Aero Jersey (~3yrs old), sent it in for repairs, they didn’t have the right material, so they sent me a 80 euro credit instead. Great service in my view. Compare that to for example Assos who said bibs are not fixable, it’s your loss even if they were only a month old.

On ASSOS, can you PM about this? Where was this?

I only have perfect experience with Assos customer service. I'm taking delivery today for the first time of 3 Rapha pink items. 2 jerseys and one set pink shoe covers. Can't wait to see and compare quality to my probably 30 Assos Summer and winter outfits.

I was a Rapha Pro bib fan until I found these: https://isoles.cc/ cheaper, great service (unlike Raphas which has serious dropped off the past 6 months), fit is spot on, fantastic quality and very comfy in the saddle. Can't recommend highly enough
I had never heard of Isoles before. The winter tights look nice and no pad; I might give those a try.

Big fan of Castelli sizing and finish quality but couldn't use their chamois for any longer than 2/3 hours.
Any news of that in the catalogue?

when was your last Castelli bib shorts released?

The 2019 Progetto X2 Air chamois is great and better than before. Even the same model of bib shorts (in my case Inferno), different model year would have different pads, even they are the same name.

Progetto X2 Air chamois for 2020.

I found this on eBay, Rapha chamois in Ian Stannard's 2018 Team Froomey Speedsuit.
Ian Stannard is 83 kg (183 lbs) & 1.89 m (6 ft-2in) and wears size LARGE.

Second image is another Rapha chamois in Luke Rowe's 2018 Team SanRemo3.2 Speedsuit.
Luke Rowe is 72 kg (158 lbs) & 1.85 m (6 ft-1 in) and wears size MED.

Do you think the new RoS approach on Gabba and Perfetto, by using Gore tex Infinium brings a big difference compared to the old generation where Gore tex x-lite windstopper pro was used ?

I think the old material is actually better.

And a few of the design decisions on the old model are better too. Specifically, the new Perfetto has a fleece on the front which means it'll get hot much more quickly - especially if outside temperature increases. IMHO the strength of the old one was that it was more of a straight soft shell outer layer which meant it was better able to be combined with different midlayers for the needs of the day.
