Great point

I want to try them and will consciously ignore anything negative

My commuting varies... Depending on training & competitions, up to 90km circuitous route home that takes in 900m ish of hills
That's my final justification...

Just ordered a pair for NZ$120 inc. shipping

Not a massive outlay to scratch an itch

One thing that wasn't mentioned is, Veloflex Corsa and Master's comes narrower than their marked size.
25mm Corsa is narrower than most of the 23mm tires hat are onn the market now.

That is the reason, if you get used to riding 25mm Michelin Power Comp, it is better to go 28mm Veloflex Corsa / Master.

About comparision between 25mm Power Comp and Veloflex, I enjoy riding both. Veloflex feels more comfortable and Michelin feels faster on straights. But I had problems with Michelin's that sidewalls are being cut really easy so I am scared to ride them anymore...
