Guys, unfortunately I’ve broken my rear derailleur hanger. Bad news is that one of the two bolts got stuck.

Any suggestion how to solve it?

First option is use a left hand drill bit and drill out the bolt. And hopefully the screw will just come out without drama. You can also use a right hand drill bit but the left-over tip of the screw might get stuck once the bolt head has been drilled out.

What I do in these situations is I use a cheap chinese dremel (mini grinder) with one of those mini cutting discs to cut a slit in the head so I can fit a flat blade screwdriver bit in it. The smaller the disc diameter, the deeper you can cut without touching the frame.

Oh snap! I’ll try to find the tools and work on it.

Just hammer a torx bit in it, works really well

Try some penetrating oil on it first.

+1 on torx bit. I usually try that first. Forgot to mention it in my post.
