You may as well put the new Venge in this category.

The question should be...which teams only race one bike on both flat and mountain stages. Currently that's only Ineos and Jumbo-Visma.

Two years ago Sunweb only rode the TCR.

In the next decade aero and lightweight will converge back into one for everyone. It'll be interesting to see how marketing departments try to differentiate Madone vs Emonda, Venge vs Tarmac since I can't see them consolidating their line-up.

Surely there were guys on the other teams that rode the one model the entire way due to personal preference?

.....yes, the Zaskar was a great bike back in the day.

I still have my 1999 Zaskar in H. O. T. Mango.

The bike was build as a kind of ww bike. All titianum hardware etc. ohhhh, yes, and as a 2x9.

Back then not many was going 2x9, but by do some custom things it performed very well.

I still have the bike and an extra pair of wheels. The spare wheels are CK classic in green build with lime Mavic 517 and green Michelin Wild Gripper in 1.95x26.

The wheels in the pictures are Tune 180, CX-Ray and Mavic 517.

If one of you guys have a near NOS SID fork from 1999-2001 please let me know Image
