Festka is really nice. You may also take a look at Time Alpe d'Huez if you can.

IME it is an amazing frame, both uphill and downhill.

The old Izalco is discontinued, and the Fuji is nice but not in the same league of special that you'd probably want if yu were looking at Festka. It's like buying an artwork, not just a bike.

Yeah, you could probably do a lot worse than the Festka. Beautiful bike.

Check out this great build, if you haven't seen it yet:

Festka have beautiful paint but construction is a little suspect. A friend had 5 festkas through their ambassador program and there were problems with every single one. Unless you can access the 50% ambassador discount and exchange program look elsewhere. Something like a Crumpton SL is much better.

Don't bother with the Fuji SL. Frame has a design flaw and can easily break around the seat-stay frame junction area. Fuji will then try to avoid their responsibility and blame user error.

Another option is the new De Rosa Merak. Don't know if it is as light as claimed but it looks awesome.

De Rosa isn't on my shopping list . I posted a comment on the recent De Rosa topic.
