There's alot of über light saddles, but i wouldn't trust them to hold for so long.
Also, why compare a saddles with such small surface area to something like Ceetec C1?

+1+2+3+4+.....+MAX, the company executives have gone mad.
S-works, Sella italia and Sella San Marco all have saddles with cover (~120g) lighter than these Ceetec's (~140g), similar surface area, but much lower price.wheelsONfire wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 5:19 pmThere's alot of über light saddles, but i wouldn't trust them to hold for so long.

Those pure carbon saddles, let's check here:

even similar shape with dila, but dila is lighter and cheaper.

I have been riding many saddles, i think this is my 26:th actually. I have tried a few of the less than ordinary saddles like ISM, Cobb and SQ Labs. Most of Cobbs saddles actually and i currently own 3 ISM and 1 SQ Labs.
My last saddle which i had a somewhat good relation to was Pro Aerofuel.
Not Selle SMP F30 or F30C, Not Selle Italia SP -01Boost or Flite Boost. These didn't work for me.
At the same time I had long time been curious of Ceetec C1 saddle. Not due to the astronomical price and not entirely due to the fact that it's designed and manufactured in Switzerland/ Schweiz.
When i first looked at Ceetec C1 i thought that it's different from the saddles i have come to like. Those with a design talking great regard to rami bone support.
With Ceetec it's different because this saddle is very focused on supporting sitbones aswell as actually allowing a degree of movement.
My focus was all in on the most padded version (C1 fiber cover soft). It's padded with a layer of memory foam under microtex on a totally stiff carbon shell.
The specified weight is 152g but on my scale it's 165g. Why did i focus on the most heavy version and not one of the lighter siblings a typical weight weenie would ask!?
The thing is when you ride this saddle, you have a superb support when you hammer away. The memory foam helps with comfort as it conforms to your body shape and it also heavily reduces vibrations.
For me this is two very attractive features.
I would seriously recommend anyone to try this saddle if the price tag doesn't makes you nausea
