Hydraulic shifters reach difference

Is there a noticeable reach difference between regular shifters and hydraulic? The 105 look a bit longer than their rim brake counterpart.

you mean the amount of pull? or actual reach to the hoods? hydro mechanical involves more complex internals as you have levers and a master cylinder to cram in.

hydro levers with mechanical gearing are longer yes
I would say 1cm more or less
and taller

di2 are the same

And ST-R7025 is 4mm shorter than the regular one.
