before on my addict i was using a dog fang.. but now on this new build, the tube is not perfectly round, so can't use the dog fang.
i'm running QXL with etap (planning on doing) and would like to install a lightweight chain catcher. i saw KCNC ones but it's 19g.. so any other that's lighter weight?

this is the lightest one i've found thus far:

I just put one on that's 5-6gr (weighed it myself). I paid 8-9usd for it.

It was branded "trigo" and you might find it on aliexpress. I bought it in China.

I ran a Token for years but switched to a Campag one when I made the change over from Shimano to Campag. I took a weight hit but my OCD required it.

Cool find. Bit less aero but I probably would have gotten that one.

Did you end up getting the chain catcher, if so how has it been.

I'm sure there are lighter, but I just weighed my 'Colnago' one (it came with my V2-R). The chain catcher alone weighed 6g, without the bolt.

Yup I did.. still in my toolbox though. I haven’t had the need to use it running eTap with QXL. No drop chain when shifting to smaller ring. I’m running 52/34 QXL and no problem on eTap.

Why not get the dedicated SRAM one?
