Tarmac vs Venge for a tall guy

I had a really good bike fit today. I've been advised to stick to the 58cm, due to reach being my limiting factor. Hence I'm guessing the difference between the two frames become more apparent again.

Still, as reach is my kryptonite, the Venge is that much longer, I think I'm going Tarmac

The Venge is not longer. Same exact geo as the Tarmac, considering that the non-optional taller headset top cap offsets the 1 or 2 mm difference in head tube length, stack and reach.

So you're saying that that headset spacer, closes the gap between 10mm of stack and 3mm of reach?

How tall are you?
I'm planning on getting a 54 tarmac. According to sizing chart, I should be 52 or 54.
The extra stack from the 54 may make it more upright/comfortable when compared to 52?

I am a little over 5’10,” but have long legs for my height. When I get measured using the “cheap” retul, taking measurement only from the hip down, I am told I should ride a 56. Have had a complete (retul) bike fit, and the 54 is dead on.

That was precisely my issue, I'm 192cm but inseam is 94.5! So I'll be looking at a super short front end to try and solve my issues. Assuming that everything that came out of my bike fit was correct
