Well, the discs havent stopped Allaphillppe and the Bora sprinters from winning this year. Specialized is ALL in on this.

I wonder what Durian rider has to say now. The dude is very vocal about not liking discs for road

Personally I'm fine with rim brakes, but I cant stop the industry. I don't have alpine climbs in my backyard, more like rolling hills
Please refrain from summoning this individual here, a great community, with great people.
Else soon enough we`ll have his girlfriend here, saying that her dad loves him, even tho DR uses
her semi naked body pictures as clickbait-thumbnails for totally unrelated yt videos. Scumbag.
On with 2020 bikes, please.

Junction port looks like on the seatpost. Like the venge. Looks like same shape just the di2 junction under saddle.
Also just speculation.

I personally don't like that placement of junction box behind seatpost because junction box also contain a mode button there.
Put a button behind seatpost:
-harder for rider to switch mode, can't see the blinking light.
-easier for your friend to mess up with your shifting mode from behind without your knowing, at stop light in casual group ride.
-higher center of gravity than placing it in down tube, and make seatpost less aero?

The headset cap kinda looks similar to the Time Alpe D'Huez. Looks like the seat-stays are also basically the same as the Venge?

So... more aero - tick

What else can they do to make it better? I reckon comfort over rough roads, especially through the front end, is a bit of a weakness of the SL6 - the high frequency buzz over cheap n' seal is exhusting. If they can make it as stiff/responsive whilst making it more comfy *and* aero... thats great!

Maybe they'll also go down the route of the Factor VAM? Shed some weight?

Did you really just say that? You realize the thing is like 15g, right?

yes, i hold one in hand a few days ago when i reconfig the cable routing of my bike.
Correct, the unit weight almost nothing. But it complicate seatpost structure, making it less aero? and add weight to top of the seatpost.
Does it matter? In theory it does make just a tiny, likely unnoticeable, difference. That's why it's the last of thee items in my list. I value first and second concern more than the last one.

At least my friends didn't try to sneaky remove Etap RD battery of someone else's bike at stop light (yet).
I should feel luckly enough with that.
