Does it fit the Canyon H31 Ergocockpit ? because of the headset top case.

Did you route the cables yourself through the Aerofly? Have one on order and just curious about what I'm in for. Was it difficult?
I didn't think it was too bad - but I am using the park took internal wiring kit with magnets.

Found it easier to route the housing through the shifter hole first and then through the frame.

Also if you're going to do shrink wrap, make sure you think thru the whole process a couple times. For some reason it was mentally challenging for me and I could've messed it up at multiple points
So I was able to manage the cable routing without too much trouble using a ZTTO cable routing tool.

The only real challenge I had was getting the Di2 cable from the left bar end, where I put my bar-end junction, around the handlebar bend and out of the shifter hole. Took a little bit of patience, but was able to get it done. Don't think I would have been able to manage it without the tool though.

All the other routings were an absolute breeze.

I spotted this on eBay when looking for a stem... Specialized Tarmac SL6 Headset Adapter for SL7 Stem:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325278380977 ... R9rhgMOLYQ

I'd be very interested to see if this, combined with Roval Rapide or Aerofly Handlebars, could update my SL6 to an integrated SL7 cockpit.

Why would you want that boat anchor on your bike when the stem is not even made for it? So many options of great cockpits out there.
Pro (shimano) new handlebars and stem coming next year should be more interesting than that of the SL7 8)

Purely aesthetic reasons because I think the SL7 cockpit looks better. I don't want to change from my SL6 so I would be willing could sacrifice 50 grams for an updated cockpit.

You may install an SL7 stem on your SL6 with this headset adapter, but integration of cables is not possible. The pictures are a bit misleading because they are from the new Allez Sprint which uses a bigger upper bearing than that of a SL6

Maddie, I had that suspicion. Thank you for clarifying - it's appreciated.

But what if you remove the current top bearing of the SL6 and replace ot it with a larger inner diameter one? Should work in my opinion but not sure if the SL6 headtube has enough reserve for it. If so, you just need to drill a hole in the fork tube, change the bearing, buy this adjust set https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325278380977 ... R9rhgMOLYQ and a compression ring, like the one in this video at 2:43min https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InRxvN-HmUE

Other idea: 3D-printed spacers for the smooth transition from frame to spacer/stem combinations like deda for example, https://dedaelementi.com/superbox-dcr-bike-stem

All provided that the upper bearing can be replaced with one with a larger inner diameter.
