Looking for a new seatpost for an upcoming build that won’t break the bank. Probably 350mm length.

Any suggestions?

Prefer one that doesn’t have too much graphics

27.2 mm I guess ?
Setback ?
I've been using those for 4-5 years without any problems, 27.2 mm on our road bikes and 31.6 mm on our CX bikes. They can handle any kind of rails.
Not too heavy IMHO:

Seems good quality and advertised weight

I’ve been using an Zero setback Elita One seatpost from Aliexpress for about 3k miles.
It’s 31.6x350 and weighs 133g. I’m 85kg and it hasn’t broken yet. Lol.
I got it on sale a few months ago, and it was around 20$. I think they might be 25$ now.

That elita one is the latest generation cheap seapost out of china. It weighs around 130gr.

It goes under many names as well as noname so don't just search for elita one.

It should be available for around 30usd. In china it costs around 23-27usd.

I’ve had a couple of Hylix ones off eBay and they’ve been great! Light enough at a good price

Hylix + 1
Super light round seatposts and bottle cages made in China are usually reliable.

I’m using the 27.2 version. Swapped the alloy yolk for a J&L carbon one to save 8g and gain some surface area for my carbon seat rails and it’s 113g all said and done. Supplier claims hardware is titanium but I might swap to black plated titanium hardware anyhow.

Do you have a link for the carbon yolk?

Wonder if it will fit the one I bought from Ali

I had to modify the seatpost as the cradle radius was tighter than the radius of the yoke. I used a dremmel and a lite file and took my time to match the profile. Was a bit time consuming because I was concerned with making it as even as possible so the saddle would sit level side to side.

Just got an AXLightness Europa 27.2 no setback 400 mm and weights in at 135 grm. So long I could cut it by almost 1/3 and still be ok with plenty below. Not the cheapest. Rated at 100 kg rider.
