I want to go mechanical on a new build and 11 speed is fine. No to crazy about keeping batteries charged plus adding another place where something can go wrong with zero perfromance gain. Also a standard 53, 39 crank. Of the two which is the lighter set up? Any feedback on performance? I've been a Sram user but am not opposed to going Shimano if it is lighter. Would probably do Red derailleurs if I go Sram.

Hydraulic shifters weigh a ton. Check carefully.

What makes things difficult is that sram specifies weights including the calipers and hoses. Shimano doesn't.

Shimano weights are listed on their homepage. Do you want better accuracy?
