Hi, can anyone tell me the optimum tyre pressure for Continental GP5000 Tubeless 25mm on Giant SLR 1 30mm rims.
I am 68kg and bike weighs 7.3kg.
Assuming I’m riding on a dry summer’s day.
Thanks

Your a similar weight to me. I’m not running tubeless but have been experimenting with tyre pressures this year.
I’ve been able to run 70psi at the front and 75psi at the rear when conditions are wet and i need a bit of extra grip without pinch punctures.
In good dry conditions i typically run 80psi and 85psi front and rear.
I’m running Michelin Power Competition 25mm tyres on Aforce rims (19.6mm internal)
Best advice is to try different pressures and settle on range for different conditions based on the type of riding you do. I guess you moved to Tubeless to have the option tom run lower pressures?

Also similar weights (65 + 7.5 kg) and tyre widths here (26mm measured) and I run about 65-70 PSI front, 75-80 rear.
I usually have a fairly low loss of pressure so I'm able to pump it to the higher ends of the values mentioned and then run with that for 2-3 days until the pressures drop below the lower ends...

71/74. It is all about road conditions however. Smooth is fast.
I use the sram tyreWiz app for my starting points. Seem pretty reasonable.
Also verify that your pump is putting out good numbers... otherwise it is an exercise in futility. I use a silca superpista digital and it is fantastic. I am 20lbs lighter and 70/72psi is advised for me.

Very simple: 10% off 68kg is 6,8 bar on normal clincher 23 mm tyres, to 25 mm less 0,5 bar and tubeless less 1 bar on general, so the results are 5,3 bar or 80 PSI (rear).devonbiker wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 3:47 pmHi, can anyone tell me the optimum tyre pressure for Continental GP5000 Tubeless 25mm on Giant SLR 1 30mm rims.

I'm 55kg, bike with everything 8kg. Also a bag around 8kg when commuting. My front 28C 5000TL starts from 80-85psi, and I'm a lazy man, so pump once a week. Every time I pump again, it remains 65-70psi. The suggestion of 28C 5000TL by conti is 65-94psi.

I'm using a Bontrager Charge foot pump.
I was running 85 PSI front and rear but it always dropped to 80 PSI almost immediately or after the first ride then after a couple of days it settles at 60 PSI.
I found pumping beyond 80 PSI quite difficult.
So I am going to pump to 80 PSI from now on, which probably mean that I'll be riding on about 75 PSI.
