My wife’s Trek Domane TA’s are both stamped with 10nm value so it’s possible it’s 10. I ended getting a portable torque key at that value so she can carry it along and save the chance of toasting her frame.
With the S-works Venge they Recommend 14-15Nm for both wheels. I put around 11Nm on it with a torque wrench.
You definitely undo it counter clockwise. I can’t imagine how tight it must have been made up to sieze itself as I can’t imagine it would corrode in a Southern Hemisphere winter as there isn’t any salt on the roads.
If worst comes to worst, the nut that secures the through axle is replacable also so you could just drill out that side and it should then just pop out. I’d recommend taking it back to the shop before you try anything like that though. If you don’t know which way to tighten a through axle, I certainly wouldn’t recommend you trying any of the suggested home remedies yourself.

Really not a big deal and there's a lot of solutions as proferred by several posters here. Or safest bet, take it to a proper LBS and they'll sort you out.

Agree with immediately above. If youre not got the mechanical aptitude to know, for example, which way its threaded, (and it doesnt matter if you dont!) then most of the solutions above carry an element of risk. Aside from anything else if the LBS balls it up the are liable.
